I'm a 42 year old single Mom of 2. I knew my weight had been slowly creeping up over the last year and a half. Went to the doctor this morning and was SHOCKED that I weighed 150 pounds
At only 5'3" that's the heaviest I've ever been, even when I delivered my two children. Before I got pregnant for the first time, I weighed 100 pounds - don't want to get to that again, but would settle for 120. (I was steady at around 130 for a long time after my kids were born, and have gained 20# in last year and a half).
So, while I'm sad, I'm also super motivated. My ex-husband is very overweight, and my daughter (9) definitely has a tendency torwards chubbiness, so I want to model healthy eating an exercise for her.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you!!
