Well I'm back after 2 years....

  • Hello all, I am back here after 2 years and 2 months. My husband, myself and the "zoo" moved closer to my relatives after living on the same farm for 24 years about 2 years ago. So I have been super busy with us building my "dream" barn and now we are building my "dream" home! So stress is my middle, er sometimes my first name. Living close to my big family with all the parties and get togethers has not helped my bad eating habits. Or my drink consumption (if you know what I mean). So anyway, I'm back and bigger than ever, hoping to change the later.
  • Welcome back! Looking forward to seeing you about!
  • Welcome back

The camel in your profile pic, do you actually own one??
  • I currently have 8, the one in my avatar is my bull Aladdin.
  • Hi usetoBfit!
Hey, you must be part of the family, we all have the same middle name! Sounds like you're on track and ready to get going - the support you need is here - we'll all be here to cheer you on.

Glad to have you back with us! There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here since last fall, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of going off track or giving up. It has made all the difference in my success so far.

So welcome back - you''re in the right place - jump right back in by inspiring us and being inspired!

All the best - good luck with your goals,
    Lee

P.S. Aladdin is quite the handsome boy - 8 must be a handful!

  • thank you very much, but the 8 camels are no big deal, it's the other critters and zebras too that make me have a lot of "hand-fulls"
