I joined this community after reading through some forums and seeing how supportive, helpful and successful many of the forum members are. I gained about 50 pounds from the time I left highschool up to now, which I am a senior in college. I am almost 21 years old and I want to prevent weight gain before it becomes an issue. Most of my close family members have spent most their lives battling obesity so I became really worried as my weight quickly jumped from 150 to 170 in a matter of 10 weeks. Before this my weight was 120 and jumped to 140 when I began college. I want to prevent more weight gain, become healthy and get back to a weight I am used to.
