I'm so glad I finally got the nerve to start posting! I really need the encouragement of people going through the same journey I am. I don't get much of that in real life so I'm really excited to get to know you all and have a 2nd home! I started losing weight earlier this year, but then took a few months off when real life got too crazy. I'm ready to get back on track! I have the 3 Jillian dvds, the Wii Active games, and an exercise bike so exercise here I come! Oh and I have healthy food too. So hi everyone I'm excited to meet you all! Good luck with your goals!

Sounds like you're on track with a good plan and lots of determination - the support you need is here - we'll all be cheering you on.

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also info and first hand advice on different eating plans and exercise to help get through the ups and downs.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!

Thanks so much for the welcome. There are so many places to visit here i could spend all day on this site. I love it! Ronni I'm up in Bloomington. I'm thinking once the holidays are over it might be a good idea to walk the Mall of America once a week for some exercise. Of course I would have to leave my money at home! I've only been as far south as Mankato. You know you're a city person when you spend your drive south counting cows!
