Hello; Will be grateful for support

  • Hello all

    I am a WW follower; I am discouraged by the fact that I have regained some of my lost weight and am starting again. I travel every week (part of my job) and that along with a good dose of "poor me" has me where I am. Looking to lose 30 - 35# (had previously lost 62#).

    I can't always post as I am on the road so much, but always peek in and read for support.

    Looking foward to meeting the forum group!

    Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained!

    There are lots of people here with more to lose and lots with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

    I've only been here a short time myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.


    So welcome aboard - there's so many us here who know just how you feel -we've lost weight only to gain it back again but we haven't given up - so
    join in by inspiring us and being inspired!

    Thanks for the welcome. I'm not formally following WW i.e., going to meetings right now but do use the point system as a guideline. I feel more determined to just take the wt off and keep it off!

    Will be checking in as often as possible.
  • Welcome, Dmac. You've chosen an excellent place to find support. Personally, I've found that jumping into a challenge is a great way to hold myself accountable. That, and every day, sometimes multiple times a day, I confess in the Daily Food and Exercise Confessions thread. Another great resource is the success stories and before/after pictures. They're so inspiring.

    We have lots of different people, but one thing I find in all of them is they are very supportive. Those who are just starting out and those who have already lost a lot of weight. You've got a great support system now. We'll help you reach your goals.
