Re-Newbie in South Jersey

  • Hello all. I've been a member for quite awhile but have been on hiatus from the site for awhile...and believe me it shows. Even though I hit the gym regularly (5 days a week at least) I'm stuck around 190. I can't seem to break this plateau and I'm guessing I'm not monitoring my eating habits well enough or just not working out hard enough or long enough. In any event, I need to be here, so I'm back! I'm looking forward to losing about 30 pounds in the upcoming months.

    I'm only new myself but, having seen all the new faces since I joined, I feel like I've been around for ages!

    I saw your comment about monitoring your eating habits and it reminded me of our "thought for the week" at WW last Wednesday which was "If you bite it, write it. If you drink it, ink it." So maybe if you keep a food journal for a week it might help in getting you off that plateau.

  • Thanks Roisin. I did start keeping a food journal although I tend to forget about it a lot of the time. By the way, Galway is on my top 5 list of places I want to visit in the next few years. It looks beautiful from what I've seen.
