I've had a weight problem for as long as I can remember. However, during Autumn/Winter last year I did go from 227 lbs to 178 lbs in 3 months by following a calorie controlled diet and exercise program. I stopped that diet in January and during this year 15lbs have crept back on so I've decided enough is enough and it's time to make the scales go back down again.
This time round I'll do much the same as before but this time try to keep up the healthier way of eating. One of my main problems is being too strict on myself, for example, I'll go on a super strict diet, lose a load of weight then find I can't maintain it and go on a binge that can last anything from a few days to weeks and end up putting on more than what I lost. Other times I'll go on a strict exercise regime and exercise every day until something upsets my routine, I miss a day or two and then just don't go back to it. So the plan is to learn how to do things in moderation.
Today is day one of my new diet and I figured joining here where we're all in the same boat would provide me with some motivation, so I look forward to chatting to everyone and reading all the posts
