Default This is my last diet EVER.. I hope!

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to say hi and I'm so glad I found this forum, because I want to make sure this is my last diet ever!

I have had success in the past losing weight. The last time I lost weight I dropped 35 pounds in about 4 months, and I had the goal to lose just another 30 to reach my ideal weight. I almost did too, except that a couple months after that I got a new boyfriend. You know how that goes! With all the dating and restaurants and popcorn-at-movies, I was so distracted with the fun I was (and am still ) having with him, that I ended up putting back on almost half of what I had lost.

Yep, that's right, I gained back another 15 or so pounds in just a few months after I had lost 35. Oh no!

It has taken me a long time to get OUT of that bad-eating groove and get motivated and started on a new diet. I've been on for 5 days now and going strong, and I really believe this will be my LAST diet ever! I plan to incorporate many different strategies I have learned over the years to hopefully make a life change, not just a weight change.

I'm excited to meet everyone here, hope I can count on your support, and look forward to offering my support in return!

The thing is though, it's a life-long journey. I wish it could be that once i lose the weight, I can go back to eating unhealthily. But I'm so with you, this is the last time I want to be trying to lose weight. After it's gone, I want it to stay gone.

Thanks guys

And hey sunflowergirl, I know what you mean about wanting to go back to eating unhealthily lol. So much less effort! But that's why I'm striving for a LIFE change. I want to change my habits, instead of just force-feeding myself a diet and then go *whew* afterwards only to go right back to my bad habits that got me overweight in the first place.

New habits = new body and new life. That's what I'm going for!
