I am 31 years old and have gotten the biggest i've ever been, after losing my job and a long-term relationship. Approximately a month ago, I got fed up with feeling miserable and decided to do something about it. I started counting calories and drinking TONS of water. I also quit smoking and drinking alcohol all in the same day. Not an easy task ;-)
When I started I weighed 239 and now weigh 222.4. I average about 4 lbs. a week loss, although I do realize that will slow down considerably in the near future.
I am hoping to get down to 150-160 and am really glad I found a site like this, with such great support. There are SO many touching weight loss stories on here and really am impressed at how supportive everyone is of each other.
Looking forward to reading more posts, and taking part. I wish everyone the best in their weight loss journey!
Changing your lifestyle all at once life that is hard, but so worth it in the end.
Not sure if you're up for a challenge, but we're still signing folks up for the Biggest Loser Challenge starting in Sept. We've had guys on the teams before, but I'm not sure we have any signed up right now. I guess we need to recruit more men.
