Hi everyone! My name is Staci and i'm new to the site. I've found that when i have people to talk to about losing weight it seems to help. My family doesn't encourage me, they just say "uh huh sure ok". Anyways, i'm 27 years ld and weight 260. My goal weight is about 175. If i lose more great but that is what i'm shooting for. I work full time as a contractor for the air force and i'm a part time student. I've always been somewhat on the heavy side even though im active. Recently i've started going to the gym at least 3 times a week if not more. ANd i started changing the way i eat.Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. I cant wait to be able to start posting progress!
Hi Staci!!! Congrats on going to the gym 3 times a week or more! Wow!! You seem like you're already on the right track with changing the way you eat and exercising! You can do this!!! Just surf around and you will find so much useful information on losing weight and keeping it off!
In addition to eating better, I would suggest keeping a food log of what you are eating and drinking to track how many calories you are taking in. I do that at sparkpeople.com but there are other sites for it as well.
Hi Staci, welcome I am sure you will find support here. I am new here too and I log on at least once a day to see what is up. Knowing that there are others out there with the same issues as you is very encouraging. I also find that seeing those who have been so successful is very inspiring.
