How does the whole buddy thing work?

I am not real sure because I don't ever see anything other than who I have listed as a buddy :|

There are plenty of people that are willing and want a buddy. Just go into a group. IE the 100lb club or the 20-somethings and put an intorduction post about yourself. Tell them you need a little motivation and would like a buddy. Im sure plenty of people will post back willing to be your buddy
