So Im not sure where to start....My name is Beth. Im 23 yrs old and have 2 kids, ages 2 and 5. Im determined to get in shape for basic training. Ive always wanted to join the military and Im serious about it this time. So I have to shape up and lose 4% body fat. Ive been working out for 2 weeks. Its pretty intense and I havent lost ANY WEIGHT. I know its my diet but I dont drink or smoke so I have an addiction to food!!!! I have made some changes but I dont know if its enough.

No white bread (wheat only), more water, NO SODAS IN 6-7 MONTHS!, NO snack cakes, but stilll nothing. PLEASE HELP ME!

Hi Beth and welcome to 3FC!

How many calories are you getting in a day? Do you exercise?

Hugs

Im not sure on calories exactly but Ive been eating alot more fruits, veggies and no fried food last few days. I exercise 6-7 days a week, which includes 2 miles walking/jogging, 4-9 miles on a bike, push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, and calisthenics, takes about 1.5-2 hrs a day. Ive also have become more active at work which is 6-8 hrs a day! Think maybe my thyroid is being crazy?!

You may not be eating enough to fuel your body for your daily activities. I suggest tallying your calories over the next week and see what you come out with you. Popular sites for that are sparkpeople.com and fitday.com .
