Hi, I'm new here. Never posted on one of these websites before but I guess I'm hoping to see that other people are in the same position as I am. Sick of the extra weight and trying to stay on track to lose it! And keep it off too!!
My name's Becky. I'm 5'9" and I weigh 220. My overall goal is to get down to 160. I've been overweight my whole life. 2 years ago I lost a lot of weight through walking and eating less but I went through a bad breakup and was depressed then started partying a lot and never went to the gym anymore so I gained it all back. I was eating a lot of junk food and I'm back to where I started. This time I want to do it right and I know what I did wrong last time.
2 & 1/2 weeks ago I started my own workout plan. Walking with my dog for 2 miles as well as going to the gym and using the elliptical for 30 mins then weight training for a half hour. ( I alternate between upper body and lower body from day to day and do abs every day). I've been doing all this on most days (5+ per week). I'm also eating a lot less and trying to stick to low calorie, low fat, high fiber foods. I've increased the amount of water I drink quite a bit too and have also not had much alcohol for a change. So far I haven't lost a single pound and I'm trying not to get discouraged but any help from you guys would be great too

Thanks!
