Hello. My name is Sheri and I decided to join in the hopes that it will help me keep motivated to lose 30 pounds. About 6 years ago I lost a total of 125 pounds only to discover recently that I've gained 30 back! This is so devistating to me. I have a closet full of the cutest clothes that I can't even wear anymore. I gained this weight in the last year. It's time to get back on track.
I did very well today but I have a long way to go.
I have always loved this site and I'm hoping that by logging in on a regular basis I will feel that I must be held accountable.
welcome, losing 125lbs is amazing! and you should congratulate yourself for maintaining the vast majority of you weight loss for so long!. Considering how much you lost 30lbs isn't major, so you have managed to get back on track early. I know its really hard to find the motivation to lose weight you already lost once lol, (i'm in the same position), but if we've done it once we can do it again!
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I know how easily 30 additional pounds can turn into 40, then 50, then before I know it, I'll be back at 263 pounds. Fortunately I kept a diary when I was losing and the memories are all coming back at how I got short of breath easily, had no energy, felt incredibly bad about myself, and the list goes on. I never want to be there again.
