Default Hi! New girl here!

Hi everyone!

How are you??

Let me introduce myself, I'm Karen (But everyone calls me Kary), I'm 21 years old and I'm from a beautiful country in South America called Colombia!

As I already mentioned, I'm 21 and my current weight is 220 pounds I'm so sad right now. I've tried it all, doing diet, stop eating, excercising, massages, and nothing seems to work for me; I've lost all my hope and I can't really talk about this in my home 'cuz I don't have a support system, although, my mother loves me, she's always telling me things like "You would be pretty if..." and that, instead of giving the strength for picking myself up and start all over, makes me wanna eat 'till I can't feel sorry for me, and then again, I get depressed and food is my comfort.

Next week I'm going to start (for the 10.000 time) a nutricional program and I'm hyring a personal trainer for the work out and this time is HAS to work, otherwise, I can see myself pretty easily weighting 500 pounds and unable to even walk.

That's why I'm here, I need to know that other people has made it!! That it IS possible and I can do it too!!

Sorry if I made you read a lot, but I really needed this space for let off some steam.

Thank you in advance for all the help and support I'm sure you'll provide to me.

Hi and welcome to you both.

The really nice thing about 3fatchicks is that it's here for you all day (and night) every day. Now that you know we're here for you ... you'll never have to feel alone in your battles.

I'm going to recommend that you find a daily accountabilty thread. Find people who eat like you and read and report in every day. Find an exercise thread too. It's amazing what you can do if you know friends are doing it oo.

Hi Kary and welcome to 3FC!

Most, if not all, of us here can understand the struggles of losing weight. Believe me though when I say it can be done. Find a plan that works for you. Stay 100% focused. Stay 100% committed. Never ever give up on yourself. You deserve to be healthier and you can do this .

Good luck with your goals.

Hugs
Michelle

Thank you very much.

For me, I count calories. I strive to stay focused. I strive to stay committed. I remind myself every day why I am doing this. I remind myself every day that only I can control if I succeed or fail. I also exercise..1 hour cardio 5-6 days a week and 30 minutes strength/weight 3 days a week.

Hugs
