I am just stopping in to introduce myself. I am a married mother of two, in my early 30’s. I am extremely overweight and unhappy that I no longer feel like I look…if that makes sense. I have always pushed myself to the back burner, turning 30 was a huge milestone in my life, it was then that I drew a line in the sand and said from that point forward I was going to take care of myself too. So, a wonderful and sometimes brutal journey of self discovery began. The journey has taken three years to get to the point that I can truly commit to making a physical change too. But, I must say I am so ready for this challenge.
I joined weight watchers online on Thursday and had my first weigh in today. I lost 4 pounds! It is a small accomplishment but it feels like a million bucks. Stumbling on this site last night was God sent. So today, I commit to be being an active member and learning as much as I can from everyone and hopefully I will be able to share some success along with the frustrations along the way!
I'm so glad you found us, and for your 4 pound loss. You're well on your way!
