Red face Hi, I'm new to the forum :)

Hello, I'm new to the forum, but not to losing weight

2 years ago I lost around 2 1/2 stone, as I was 5'2" 14 Year old then this put me from nearly "obese" to "normal"

I'm here to lose around 15lbs, not because I am unhappy with my body but I'm going to cornwall with my bf in august and I want to impress on the beach

mainly, I'm here for toning, as when I lost weight before I did little to no toning exercises which has left me with a very soft physique

I would say the part of my body I don't like the most is my bum although my bf inisists he loves it....

I'm just here for support and advice and to find some fun while losing weight

Hi Clare,

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your goal

I'm planning a trip to Cornwall this year too and it is daunting with all the surfers flaunting their super fit bodies! I would say, though, that you should be careful how much you lose, because being underweight looks worse in a bikini than being at a normal weight for your body, and you're already at a good weight, which your bf loves.

Of course you need to do what makes you happy, so take a look around for support and inspiration, as you will find plenty of people in the same situation as you.

See you around!

Hi Claire,

Welcome along, I am pretty new myself, and have found lots of support. You might also find lots of good info on the Featherweights forum to help you with those 15lbs

Best of Luck
