Hi all. My name is Anita. I have been off the forums for a while ( well I read, but have not posted) as I was in grad school. Now that I am finished I want to get back on track. i am following the Weight Watchers plan at home since finances are making it hard for me to attend. I am hoping that changes soon.

I am a teacher and plan to spend my summer getting some exercise and getting on a healthy lifesyle. I cannot say diet because I have to change my whole lifestyle and the way I think about food ( good and bad). I am here to finally get back on track and feel better.

Hi Anita. Welcome back. I am following WW too, but I go to the meetings even though I can't really afford it. Facing that scale, paying that money I can't afford to throw away, and the support from other members really helps me to stay on track. My father and my stepmother both died young from terrible complications of diabetes and I have reached the stage of my life where I HAVE to lose this weight or face what the future would hold for me and it will not be pretty, fun, or nice. I HAVE to do this and I WILL do this, and you can too!!!
