Hi, I'm new to these forums and am thrilled to find a place with so much information and support.

I'm getting back onto the South Beach bandwagon, I did it for some time about 5 years ago and it works, but over the years I've fallen back into bad eating habits and so I need to get disciplined again.

I'm hoping to find some of the support and encouragement I need here as well as with some of my offline friends. I'm grateful to also have a very supportive husband

I know a lot of people who have had success with the South Beach plan -- it's a good plan, and from what I've seen there's a very good support forum for that plan here at 3FC too.

I'm currently doing LAWL -- one of the older plans (the colored ones, not the numbered ones, from before they added more starches...adding more starches is NOT a good thing for me).

One of the things I really like about 3FC is that there is support for many different plans -- it's not a one-size-fits-all approach.
