Thanks so much Countingdown! :)

I'm in awe of your accomplishment of getting down to 130! (This would be my dream weight!) When did you start your journey? Have any tips to pass along?

I started in July of 2007. I reached my goal of 130 in July of 2008.

If you check out my goal story, it outlines my plan. But, in a nutshell:
Count calories, eat whole - nutritious foods, eat small meals 6 times a day, exercise moderately every day, drink plenty of water, keep some balance in my life (body, mind, spirit).

You CAN do this! If this 50+ post-menopausal chickie can - you can to

Wow! What a great story! Very inspirational! Thanks for writing it! And I too am finding 3FC a God send!

Water

I hear ya on the lots of water thing. I attribute my success to the water I drink.I know it makes a big differance, not just filling you up but also flushing out the toxins. I tell all my weigh in pals water, water, water.
:queen:

Oh yes! Water! I have been drinking nothing else for the last month. I have a refillable 24 oz. bottle that I fill about 3 times a day.
I used to drink diet Pepsi all the time, but I don't even miss it. Probably because I'm never thirsty anymore. :)

Another GA girl here:)

Just wanted to say hi! I'm a Georgia girl also, about 30 minutes south of Atlanta (thank goodness I'm NOT in Atlanta...no offense to anyone that lives there!).

I'm doing Nutrisystem for a couple of months and then I plan to drop that program and do it on my own. This is my second month with that, and I will probably order 1 more month before I stop the deliveries.

Greetings Michelle! From near the Athens area.

How do you like Nutrisystem? I've always wondered about that plan. I just figured the food might be icky or something. :D

I've been using the GoWear fit (like the BodyBugg) (www.gowearfit.com) for the last week, and so far I love it.

Well, for the most part the food is kind of nasty, lol. I've found a couple of things that I thought I would buy off the shelf if it were available, but most of it I don't care for. Some I consider inedible, other foods I can deal with, even if I don't "love" them. It's working for me....the first and only diet I've ever stuck to for more than 2 weeks, so I'm happy with it.

The reason this is working for me is because I don't have time to count points or calories and I don't care for the low-carb diets that you don't have to count with.

I'll have to check out gowear. I've never even heard of it!
