Talking Howdy Ya'all

Hi everybody!

I'm new here. A good friend sent me in this direction when I was banned from another board for not living the lifestyle they promoted in every other thread.

I had gastric bypass in June 05 and have maintained a 130 lb weight loss. I recently had a tummy tuck/hernia repair/muscle repair/liposuction. Let me tell you, recovering from all of that has NOT been fun. But, it's worth it!

I'd love to hear from anyone--no matter what stage you are at in your journey or how you are going about it.

I NEED NEED NEED to find an exercise that's right for me. So, throw your ideas out at me. This girl needs to get active again!

If you have any questions regarded gastric bypass for plastic surgery, just let me know!!

-Jenny

Hi Jenny, welcome! Glad to have you! There are lots of different ways to do things right here, and we all respectfully agree to disagree, as long as it's healthy, so you'll fit right in! Good luck on your continued maintenance!!

Thanks so much!
I'm a girl who learned to live the life of moderation! After gastric bypass I became (by the grace of a higher power) lactose intolerant, therefore I could no longer eat the thing I binged on (ice cream)!!!!! Woo hoo!

Welcome!

I'm really just at the start of my journey so walking and weight training is as far as I go with exercise, but there is an exercise thread here you may find useful.

Congrats on your success!!
