Hello. My name is Carmen. I registered a few years back but I never posted (just lurked). I am trying to get on the other side of 200lbs (short-term goal). I started on the 4-day diet and got sick of salad and beans everyday, so I decided to go for it on my own. I've done it before (lost 20lbs and kept it off), so there is no reason I can't do it now. I just have to remember what my DH told me - I am in control of my body; I control every morsel of food that I put on my mouth. I need to remember that I control this - it doesn't control me!

Just wanted to say hi...:D

You have a great attitude! Its hard to remember when we have those cravings and low points that we're in control and not the otherway around.. but thats when we stay strong and fight the old habits and remember why we are here.. to make ourselves healthier and stronger.
