Unhappy I lost my motivation...

Hi everyone! I just signed up with the site, and have been looking around. It looks like a really supportive environment.

Welcome! Looks like you are doing very well with your weight loss. What are you doing for food and exercise?

Motivation comes and goes. Commitment is the stick-to-it-iveness that gets us through even when we don't feel like sticking to plan. Maybe try something new for exercise? Train for a race? Try a new skill? New recipes?

Welcome! You are so right, this is a very supportive place! I have trouble with motivation also, yet the people here have given me the boost I need whenever I feel like slacking off. Read lots and post lots! Get involved and you'll see how wonderful it is! Good luck!

Thanks guys! Well, I count calories and stick to approximately 1500 per day. So that's pretty good in my eyes, I was excercising daily doing 45-60 mins of cardio a day, and a few days a week of light weight training. The problem is I got a big promotion and worked 12 hour days for a few weeks on top of being a student. Now my hours have normalized back to 8 hour work days, but I need to get back to exercising!

I was taking a look in the before and after board, and WOW, there are some real successes here. So, that was pretty motivational! I have never been a big forum person, so I'm going to try to get involved.

And that's a great idea to train for something. I think I will search out some type of race and train for it as my goal.

It sounds like you are on the right track! And yes, getting involved in the forum makes a big difference! Also, if you are interested in challenges, there are some great ones to join on this page: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=159.
