I have finally faced my weight. I have been overweight since I was in 2nd Grade. I remember in school getting teased...and having the boys walk around me and taunt me saying "whoa....earthquake" among other things. I have NEVER been comfortable with myself...I dont know how that feels. To this day it still bothers me..BUT...I have finally chosen to change things. I am going to take this Journey and lose this weight. I am 24 and currently weigh 259 pounds. I joined the Metabolic Research Center a week ago and have lost 7 pounds!! I want to lose 106 pounds. Im hoping I can meet some ppl to keep me motivated and to which I can do the same. I believe the support you have while in this journey is a big help. If you are looking for a buddy...add me! Good Luck to everyone in their journeys!

welcome dedge! and congrats on embarking on a new healthy lifestlye!

I'm 26 and have been overweight since first grade so I can totally relate!

Good job on losing the 7 lbs that's a great start! Just think you've lost a bag of sugar plus 2 more pounds! and your not carrying that weight around with you all day any more! great job!

Default New here!

Hello everyone! I have gained a few pounds in that last few months, while recovering from surgery (went from 112 to 118). I'm now able to be active again and am looking for inspiration and support! I gained 50 lbs while pregnant with my son and 60 lbs while pregnant with my daughter so I know what "BIG" feels like . . . I was able to lose it all each time, so for that I'm thankful. It's so great to find a forum where everyone is helpful, supportive and encouraging! I hope that we all reach our goals

I'm new to this site too! I'm 26 years old and have been pregnant for almost 3 years straight. I went from 128lbs to 200lbs. I want to loose it all. I'm hoping this site will help keep me motivated, because there are days when I'm so tired (I have a 2 year old and 3 month old) I don't want to exercise or do anything. Right now I weigh 171lbs, and I'm hoping this weight loss journey continues to be a success for me!

Welcome to 3FC! You can get a weight tracker when you have been here 20 days and also have posted 20 times. Check out the 20 something forum and the MRC forum! Good luck!
