I was a member here a few years ago before my major weight loss. In 2005 and 2006, through exercise and healthy eating I lost over 150 lbs. I became a runner and yoga lover. In August 08' I gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL baby girl. I gained over 55 lbs during my pregnancy. I lost about 18 right away and have lost 7 more in the past 5 months or so but I keep hovering at around the same weight and and am having a hard time the rest. I have about 30-35 to go and I'd like to take off an addition 10 or 15 to get back to my lowest weight and be in running shape again. I'm hoping being part of this forum will help me stay encouraged and motivated.

Nice to meet you. I grew up near Syracuse (in Baldwinsville, to be exact) and did my undergrad degree at SU. And because I know what it's like, I'm not going to say anything about snow.
There are a lot of runners posting here. This is where I heard about the Couch to 5K program, which I sort of used so that I could do a 5K at Beaver Lake early last summer.
saef, thank you for not commenting about the snow here LOL. Today was so nice. I can't wait for Spring to get here so I can walk outside again.
We've been here for a year and half so far and I've yet to go to B-Ville. My hubby is doing his PhD at SU. We're here for another year and a half at least. I like the area for the most part.
