Hey everybody,
Here I am, making the obligatory newbie post

. So a little bit about me?
Well, I'm a 21 year old final year English student, and if all goes according to plan I will have an English degree under my belt come June. My weight loss history has a few ups and downs. When I was younger, I had to undergo surgery for a dreadful condition known as Pilonidal Sinus (if any fellow suffers are out there, believe me, I feel your pain!) and due to a lack of movement after the surgery, I piled on the pounds. I subsequently lost it though, so it wasn't too bad. However, my condition reoccured a grand total of four times, with my most recent surgery being last summer. As I was straight back to college, once healed, I never managed to get that stubborn post operation weight off.
I fell into the horrible cycle of eating to make myself feel better when I was in pain, and it is only with the dawn of the new year that I have realised it is time to do something about my weight. I want to be able to put the past behind me, and make positive lifestyle changes that will benefit my health and my self image. So I have decided to embark on this current weight loss venture for myself, and myself only.
I could really do with some support along the way, and this seems like such an awesome and amazingly positive place, so I hope you don't mind if I set up camp here
I look forward to chatting with all you lovely ladies (and handsome men!)
Much love,
Freyja x.
