Hi, all! My name is Kelly. I'm 28 and have a 3 year old daugther named Lilah Eden-Diane. About 2.5 years ago, I started Weight Watchers and weighed 298 lbs.! About a year ago, I was down to 198 lbs.!!! Unfortunately, because of money, I had to stop attending the meetings, and I did gain about 15 lbs. back. I'm now going to a gym in my area that is only $20 a month. I go every morning during the week and on my lunch break. It's alreayd helping, plus I'm getting back on track with my Weight Watchers. I don't really have a goal weight, as much as I just want to be a size 12 (right now I'm a 16). I'm a big girl anyways (5'7" with a large frame), so I know I wouldn't look right if I were any smaller than about a size 10.
I struggled my whole life with my weight, and after I had Lilah, I was determined to lose the weight. Even being a chubby kid, I still got picked on for having parent that was heavy, which is my father. I always said that I would not allow my child to be picked on for having an overweight parent, and that what made me join Weight Watchers. Also, my dad has type 2 diabetes, and I don't want to end up with that, and I know that losing weight is the best way to avoid getting it.
I decided to join this website to help keep me inspired to lose the weight.

Congrats on your weight loss so far! We have a busy WW forum and I think some of the ladies follow the plan at home, vs. going to meetings. We also have a very active 20 something forum. I love how you spelled "Lilah"---so pretty!
