Default Hi. New to 3fc and loving it.

Hi there. I just wanted to say hello to everyone. Found this site looking for some weight loss support and love it so far. Everyone seems to have great tips and information to share. I have been dieting for about 2 weeks now and it seems to be getting easier now that I have a whole routine and everything. I have not started exercising yet...working up to that. About a year and a half ago I won a Hometown biggest loser contest with my boyfriend. We got to go on an awesome cruise! I lost 35 lbs and he lost 75. It sucks to have to say that I gained every pound back and then some. Maintence is always my hardest part. Any way just wanted to say Hi and give a little info about me.

Hi there wcarrick!

Well, at least if you've done this before, you know what you're doing! And this time, you have the support of 3FC and the fabulous Living Maintenance forum to carry you through the maintenance side of things.

We have forums by eating plan, age range, and amount to lose. You may want to check out the 100 lb club, for those working toward losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more. We also have a lot of miscellaneous support groups and challenges - find a spot or several, settle in, and keep posting!

Can't wait to get to know you better!

This site is really great, especially for the times you slip up. It's so much easier when you have someone who understand to talk about your slip. I hope you lose all the weight you want! I like reading diffferent books on weight loss from the library, or online (health.com, self.com etc). Some books I'd recommend are: The McDougall Plan for Maximum Weight Loss, The Fat Smash Diet, He Loves Lucy, Secrets of a Former Fat Girl is a great book too when you are ready to exercise.

You can do it!
