Fed up & Motivated

  • Hello! my name is Arlene. I've been really over weight for 2 years now. I gained it so fast and didn't do anything to change that. For 2 years I didn't watch what I ate and I didn't exercise. But I decided to do my best to lose 56 pounds by the end of the year. Hopefully by Oct. So I set a goal to lose 5 pounds a month, which is realistically for me. So if I continue to eat right and workout I should be my goal weight of 160 by Oct. I want to get down to my regular weight of 140. But I'm starting slow. And trying to be practical with my weight loss. Just thought I'd share that with you guys.
  • Good for you- I'm in the same boat- didn't treat myself well in college and last month decided to stop fooling around and take control.

    I try to work out three times a week now and try my best to eat as well as possible- sometimes it's not easy (period cravings ug) but I'm not giving up this time!

    We have many areas you might want to investigate...forums by age range, eating plan, amount to lose, etc. So look around, find a spot, settle in, and get to posting.
