Default 27 years old, 5'2, starting weight 260lbs. anyone else?

hello! i am certainly not new to weight loss. i have been losing weight my whole life! in fact.. i've probably lost 300lbs or more since i started. the problem being that i'm much better at gaining weight than i am losing weight. my typical cycle is lose about 8-9lbs, then gain about 10 back. *doh*

i really admire all of you who have already lost a lot of weight and are almost finished! one day i hope to be you, and you have all my support. that being said, i need to read your blogs and get excited, but ultimately click with a fat chick for a dual weight loss adventure. if you're a female, ~about my height, and ~about my weight, and looking for a serious buddy, hit me! i am looking for someone who needs daily support. daily contact. daily "do it woman!!" my local friends don't share my weight problem, and really just don't understand this madness. so it's hard for them to keep up with me because they don't think about it.

i own my own business (i'm crazy) but that makes me flexible to be able to email easily every day. i'm also on IM every day (mon-fri that is) for customer service and don't mind a break for encouragement.

if that's a little too "prying" for you, that's ok too. i just know i need it.

thanks for reading. hope to get to know you soon!

Hi Heather!! Welcome to 3FC!!

I'm glad you're here!

We have lots of forums so surf around and settle in and make yourself comfy! We have 100 lb Club, which I think has some of the best support on the planet! We also have a 20-something forum and a Faith-based support forum. Isn't it funny----so many of us are successful in so many areas, and weight seems to be the challenge!! You can find a way to reach your goals, I know it!

Hi there &

You'll find a lot of support around here While you're certainly welcome to connect one-on-one with people, there are a lot of groups pushing & helping eachother daily, too. So take a look around, post wherever you're comfortable.

You can do this! Best of success

Glad you found us! Feel free to join us over on Christian Encouragers.

You CAN do this! I soooo relate to losing the same lbs. over and over again. I finally broke the cycle with the support and guidance I found here on 3FC.

You WILL too!

Hey Heather....I can really relate to your story. I feel like I have ALWAYS been trying to lose weight. I'm 5'3" and 250ish right now......I lost 25 pounds back in the summer and have gained most of that back

This year I'm making things about doing what works for me.....I'm not gonna keep doing the same thing and expecting different results.

Check out the forums....snoop around and find some places that work for you.

My all time favorite is the "Chicks up for a challenge forum"

I love all the challenges you can get involved in there........very motivating!

Hi Heather. Hope all is well.

Don't you just love reading success stories? I feel like whipping out a tape recorder and interviewing those who've accomplished their weight loss dreams!

We're both pretty much on the same boat. I'm 23 going on 24 years old this March. I've always been overweight and don't have too many girlfriends that are looking to lose weight with me. I definitely need support as well, so let's get in contact (maybe we'll have other things in common as well).
