Talking Let me introduce myself

I am new to this board and dieting and weight loss. I am 50 something and have slowly been gaining weight over the years. I love to eat and cook. Fortunately I am very active and bike and work out a lot. I would like to lose about 25 lbs. I have never really dieted, and I know this will be hard. I love to eat cookies and sweets. I hope having an online support group will help. One of the other challenges I have is using the computer (my other resolution). I am the mother of 3 grown boys. I work part time as a nurse. I hope this works!

Hi Betz, You've come to a great place to get support. There are a few groups of over 50's to join. Look around and find one that fits you. I like to post in the over 50 groups because I find I have more in common. Face it, for us "older" ladies, it's just a little harder.

And I work part time as a nurse too.
