Newbie In Texas
 

I was so excited about finding a place like this! I am 43 with 2 kids and a very busy life, I hope to put me first on this go round. I have read alot of the postings and appreciate that there are people just like me! It is not a new years resolution, it is a change of life for me! I need to lose 63 pounds to get to what my doctor considers a healthy weight for me. As everyone knows this is a very had thing to do, but I think with everyones help and stories on here I will be able to do this with less problems! I hope everyone has a wonderful new year and I hope to hear from other people who are in my position. :hug:

I'm new here too and I'm glad to see you found this site as well! Which part of Texas are you from? My sister-in-law currently lives in Houston and was here for the holidays, bragging about the warm weather there. ;)

speaking of warm weather, today I walked the dogs in shorts and a tank top... oh and christmas too. XD
