I have begun my walking again, and that is something I love.
If anyone has other suggestions I would greatly appreciate any and all input.
Thank you so much in advance

Hello from another 40 year old yoyo dieter.
I think the veggie chicks are a perfect place for you. You are welcome anywhere you like, but if you are considering veg/vegan, these chicks are for you! Have you considered Eat To Live? It's a pretty big lifestyle change, and not for everybody, but I've read a lot of ETL success stories.
MEENAMOM ~ I agree that the Vegetarian/Vegan section would be best for you if you want to stay away from meat. The key will be trying to find enuff protein from what I hear: nuts and seeds are a great source, just watch the amounts. Not everyone likes tofu, but you may; low cal protein sources such as beans & legumes; whole grains; tuna, chicken, salmon, fish if you are quasi; cheese and eggs: but as a vegan that will go too. One step at a time may be best. I think portion control no matter which plan you are on is important.
