Hello loves!

I'm Emmy, and I am from Maryland, and I am just about to start college.

I have been overweight pretty much my whole life.

I used to have self-esteem problems, but now I'm over that. and I realize my beauty, and I am just losing weight for health reasons now.

I, contrary to what alot of people choose to do, want to excercise and change my eating habbits, to lose weight. I don't want to sink money into horrid tasting food, and not enjoy life because I'm too busy trying to eat what came in the mail...

I just wanted to join this forum to give and get support from people who are going through the same things as me.

I've decided to change my life, while I'm still young...

I actually have my own business, and I am starting up some more business, all the while still doing school, and maintaining a social life.

I just started college this year too! And the funny thing is that I've realized at least for me, the college lifestyle has done great things for my overall health! I actually sleep at least seven hours a night - usually 8 (gasp, I know! That never happened in high school!), I get a work-out 7 times a week, and yes, salads do get boring sometimes, but I can make healthy eating choices at the cafeteria.

The Freshman 15 is NOT inevitable... in fact, my goal is to gain the negative Freshman 15!
