...all over in the again and again of my life.

  • Hello!
I am 61 and hoping to get the courage to start all over in the again and again of my life.
I am in an almost binge mentality at the moment after being on a somewhat LC diet for the last few years.
This means that I stay high fat but now am also high carbs.
I don’t know what to do I am so messed up. Ten years ago I did lose 60 pounds in 6 months on a diabetic diet with an hour on a treadmill but I have lost my spark.
I came here to read and decide what I should do to ignite a passion to lose weight once again.
  • hey
Believe me I know how hard it is to stay motivated especially with all the "fad" diets and trying things over and over that don't work. What helps me is thinking of my kids and how I want to have the energy to keep up with them. Find something or someone that makes you want to be a better and healthier you. I'm just starting again after having my second child, and I'm going to take a "before" pic and hang it on my mirror so I look at it every day to remind me why I don't like where I am and then every 10lbs I lose take another pic so i can see the progress hopefully that will keep me going. Maybe that would help. Good luck and I'll be here to talk if you need to!
