hello! new here!

  • hello! my name is megan and i have been lurking the message boards for months now and its safe to say that i am finally ready to become an active member. i used to be thin (115 to 120 pounds) but when i was pregnant i gained a lot of weight and ended up at 165 when i delivered my daughter. i lost 25 pounds within about 6 months and haven't budged since (my daughter is now 2 1/2!!). i have had a hard time getting on track with diet and exercise but no more excuses! i am currently a size 8 but if i don't start doing something now i will soon be a size 10. nobody wants to buy a bigger jean size!!

    anyway, i bought the jillian michaels shred dvd today and had a salad for dinner. so far so good! haha.

    ps: i am so glad a place like this exists!!

    Hi, I'm new too. I have tons, well more like 80lbs to loose. Seems nigh near impossible.

    You may want to check out our "Featherweights" forum, for those with less to lose than some others here...it presents unique challenges!

    We also have groups by age range and eating plan, and I know we have a thread going for those doing the 30-day shred with Jillian, so check those out.
