Default New girl in town!

Hi, all! I'm an almost 16 year old girl who has been overweight since fifth grade! I am trying to lose about 38 lbs, and I would like to go from a size 12/13 to an 8/9 (6/7) if I'm able. I am going to be using the weight watchers program, and I definitely need all the advice and inspiration I can get! Does anyone have any tips in particular to get started and stick to the program?

Hi and Welcome to the site, i wish you the best of luck in your journey through your weight watchers plan.

This is one of the best sites ever to come to for questions and answers and most important Support because everyone here is going through or has gone through what you are going through and can relate to you.

As far as tips for making it work, i say you just have to be determined in what you want to do. You have to want to lose the weight. and be willing to do whatever it will take.

I've been a Weight Watchers member for about 17 months now. It's a great program. Are you able to get to meetings? If you are, I truly recommend that you go each & every week. Don't expect perfection from yourself, but do continue to move forward each day.

There's a weight watchers section under Diet Central that might interest you. You'd be able to talk with fellow weight watchers & find recipes and other good things.

Glad you found us. WW is a GREAT plan, you'll have mucho success because it teaches you how to eat healthy and what portion control really is.
