hi all,
i'm new to 3FC (just joined yesterday) but i've been visiting the recipes and nutrition info parts of the site for ages! i'm 20 and working on an english/women's studies degree in university, and i hope to work overseas with an international women's organization after i graduate. first, though, i need to shed a few pounds. i was pretty active in high school and was always very slim (even went through a restrictive eating phase where i got really skinny) but in the past year i have put on a lot of weight mostly by binge eating. i'm trying to gain an understanding of why i do this to myself, and so far reading the posts here has been a really great start! it's always reassuring to know that others are going through the same issues that i am, and i look forward to providing as much help as i can as well as (hopefully!) recieving some support as well!
