    Hi, boy am I glad to find this site!!

    Thought I would introduce myself before posting anywhere else!! I am 31 and live in south west UK, I have always had a weight problem, after several years hubby and I have decided to adopt a child, however we have been told they will not accept us until I have lost weight, I have alot to lose and I am hoping that being here will help spur me on. I have been going to Slimming Workd but am thinking of going it alone for a while!!

    I look forward to getting to 'know' you all soon!!

    Nice to meet you! I love visiting the UK, though I've never been SW. Mostly London and various parts of Scotland.

    My sister just adopted a child into our family, so I hope that things work smoothly for you soon!

    We'd all love to help you on your way! Depending on how much you have to lose there are areas like the 100lb club & the 300+ section that you may find comforting. There are also groups based on age, and there's the UK section, too!
