Hi, new here, but not new to dieting. Just found this forum and it looks interesting so why not register, right? I started my battle at 240 and got down to 176, now I'm back up at 193 and want to get back down, first goal, 176, and then eventually down to the 130's. I feel this is a completely attainable goal. I calorie count now, I started out in Sept 06 on herbalife...boy did that screw up my life. Then I switched to calorie counting and have not had too many problems. My first goal, 176, I want to attain by sept 15th. Second goal, 165 by the end of october. I have reason for wanting rapid weight loss right now and that is that my boyfriend has been restationed 4000 miles away from me and I'll be going to see him in the end of october and want to look my best and surprise him.

Hey Ghost, Your weight story reads like mine. I went from 220 to 185 a couple of years ago, but now I'm up to 225. I think it hits you much harder when you lose and then gain it back. I feel worse about myself this time. I just can't seem to get myself to stay committed and each time I fall off the wagon, I gain even more weight. I'm determined to get my life back, and I'm hoping this will help. I think I may be older than most of the people posting. I'm 48. How old are you?

I'm 29, and your right, gaining it back makes you feel worse. I feel like poo about especially since everybody was so proud of me for taking it off. But, 48, thats like the new 32...you can do it.
