Default No Longer Lurking

Hello there everyone! I finally decided to emerge from the shadows and start posting here at 3fc. I thank my lucky stars that I stumbled across this site and I look forward to getting more involved here.
Anyways, I'm in my third week of Weight Watchers and have lost 11.5lbs so far. I look forward to losing more.

11-1/2 is a very inspiring start, isn't it? WW is a great program, and this is a great site! Good luck!

Default Hello from a future ex-fat chick!

Nothing says hello like a dancing carrot! Hi, I'm Karen and I'm so new at the diet, I haven't chosen one yet. South Beach? Weight Watchers (again!), or simply drinking a lot of water and upping my attendance at the gym? I stumbled across this website and I am so happy about it. The encouragement and camraderie will be a real help! I have two children, one is 10 months and the other is 3 years. My husband is my Superman, though he acts more Clark Kent-ish. Maybe it's the glasses. I'm in my late thirties and having difficulty losing the baby weight and my own bad habit weight. This fat chick is ready to start SOMETHING to move into a more healthy bod and lifestyle.
