Talking Hello All!

Yesterday was that day. You know the one. You wake up, look at yourself in the mirror and think to yourself... "Who the he** is that??"

That was yesterday. This is today.

I need to do something about this little "weight problem" I have... well, if you can call needing to lose 90 pounds a little problem. I have done all the diets, lost the weight and of course, gained it all back.

I haven't decided exactly WHAT I'm going to do about it, which diet I'll choose or what's on the agenda from here on out but I'm here... and I want to make the change. I've been putting it off and putting it off... telling myself that I'm doomed to fat-ness. That I'm just big boned... yeah! Big boned!!

But... I'm not... big boned that is.

So I know how to eat healthy. I know what to eat that's healthy... the hard part is doing it. I think that overweight people know more about dieting than anyone alive. You know... the people that can recite how many calories each item is on the allowable foods list?? I'm one of those people. I read this list as I eat my granola bars and non-non-fat yogurt. It gives me something to do while I eat.

I've done WW and Nutrisystem, both with outstanding, yet sadly temporary, results. And the WW boards are N.. .A...S... T... Y......... God forbid you ask a question that's already been asked... and the NS food got boring after a couple of months... I mean, how many cardboards pizzas does it take to make someone finally get so bored and cranky that they order out for stromboli??

So, this time (follow me on this now), I'm thinking of eating less and exercising more!! Call me crazy but it just might work!!

I was also thinking of trying Slim Shots... anyone... anyone?

So I'll make you a deal... I'll support you if you support me...

I'm excited to be getting started and to getting to know you all.

:c ool:

I think if you've lost weight before and obviously learnt the pros and cons of how to do it, that this time round you should concentrate more on how to maintain that weight because as I've heard it's just as much work as the weight loss journey. I'm wishing you the very best however, you can do it!

Hi and welcome! This is a great place to share what you're going through and get some support. We're all on this journey together.

I just started slim shots and to my surprise I think they are working. I am having to take three a day instead of two because I am heavy. It is really neat. Something about the oils in it.
