Default Hello, Again :D

I had an account here last year and gave up the internet for about five months LOL So, I'm back!!

I'm Rachel.. from Texas... I couldn't tell you how much I weigh at this point because I've just been measuring myself. I started boxing about six weeks ago and can honestly say- it is THE best workout ever!! I'm a big girl- so trust me it isn't just for the skinny people! LOL I'm 6'1 and weigh upwards of 320 lbs. *that's the last time I weighed myself* but with working out more I've lost a total of 13 all over inches in three months. Am just so stoked to be back!!

I never considered just measuring myself. I stand on the stupid scale everyday -- sometimes twice! What do you measure? How often?

Hey Rach

I'm so glad you're back. Sounds like boxing is a blast for you - it is SO important to find exercise you enjoy and can sustain!

Have you found our 300 plus or 100 lb clubs yet? They're both great, active spots for those starting around where you are. Check it out!

Otherwise, settle in, find a spot or several, and keep posting. I can't wait to hear more from you!

Thanks so much for the welcome!!

Michelle- I've learned to avoid scales because they stress or depress me... I measure once a week- I actually measure just about everything... my list goes as follows lol

Wrist:
Forearm:
Upperarm:
Chest:
Waist:
Hips:
Thigh:
Calf:

and my first time I measured I did both the left and right sides of my body- took the largest measurement of both and made note of it so that i'd measure only the one that came out the largest Is just an easier way for me to watch my progress.

Mandalinn82-- Thanks for the welcome- I completely agree that your workout has to be fun for you or you'll struggle to do it! I'll most definitely be checking out those clubs out, Thanks again
