I just lost 55 lbs

  • HI I am a nurse in Seattle

I lost 55 lbs this past year even with surgery last november & life altering events in April

I am moving to Canada soon as well. lots of stress so I learned to watch for triggers for overeating
I make sure I eat Lean & green meals
I keep my carbs arounnd 80-100
    I eat about 1000 cals a day

I keep mind positive. I drink about 80-100 oz of water

I am 10 lbs from goal & I want cheerleaders to cheer me on for the last 10 lbs. I am also here to help & cheer lead anyone else that may need it.
  • nurse congrats on your weight loss thus far.

You sound like you're doing really great -- but I'm curious who recomended you follow a 1000 calorie diet? I'm sure you are aware that 1200 is typically the amount women are told not to dip below. 3fc is a great place for support, so keep coming back. There are a lot of sub forums -- so hopefully you can find one that matches the plan you have chosen??

and Canada's a great place to live you'll love it.
  • Wow well done! Though I have to agree that is sounds like you're calorie intake could be pushed a little higher!
  • I didnt want to post the details because I am not looking for anything but positve feedback, but the chicks moderators said I had to

I am sensitve & I want positive feedback

    It varies between 1000-1100
    It works for me
nothing else has worked for me

    thanks for your opinions

You can share what you do, if you like
  • I agree that 1000 cals a day is too low to maintain your health. You can lose the last ten pounds on a higher calories a day plan. I know from experience that the last ten pounds are the hardest, but if you keep at it , it will happen.

  • JC is good but I found it spendy.

THanks for your warm welcome. I think nurses & teachers tend to eveyrones need but our own & tend to get heavy. We rush around & dont take time to eat properly

    Good luck too
