Hello Forum

  • Hello all,
    I was born round and have been round ever since. Have not let it hold me back though. From volunteer fire-fighter to martial arts student if I wanted to do it, I did. But now Doc says my blood pressure is too high and the weight has to come off. So I have set my goals, researched my do's and don'ts, and am now setting up my support systems. I know this is not going to be an easy journey and I'm going to need all the love and encouragement I can find. I'm looking forward to meeting many new friends.

  • I am using a low cal/low fat diet. Trying to stay inbetween 1100-1400 calories daily. My weekly exercise routine is currently: 2 hours of water aerobics, 1 hour of cardio on various machines in the gym, and 30 minutes of resistance training.
    It's been a big help that my husband and boys all agreed to diet and exercise with me.
