Newbie
Hey everyone,
I'm new here, but this seems a little moreso my speed than weight watchers meetings. Nice to meet you all! I'm pretty good at learning from others and hopefully you guys can learn from me? I'm 23 and sadly I sit my big butt at a desk all day. not healthy right?? I'm really pushing myself to get down to a normal weight. :hug: |
Welcome!! I also sit all day long and have been doing it for a long time. Practice not perfection will take us both to a normal weight.

Butt-sitter here, too! I just have to make time to treadmill after the sitting ;) Slowly, but surely we'll make our way down to a healthy weight range! Best of success!!! |
Another "butt sitter" here! Sometimes I wish I could do something about the sedentary nature of my job, but accounting has to be done at a computer, so here I am stuck. I wear a pedometer constantly, and it can be disappointing at times to look down at it when I'm leaving work and see that I've only got 1500 steps, knowing that I've got another 10500 to go. Maybe you can take a quick walk around the office during lunch break? I try to park far away from the door, although it only gives me a hundred extra steps, every little bit counts! I've taken to marching in place whenever I get the chance. Fixing my hair, brushing teeth, cooking, even reading!
