Another "butt sitter" here! Sometimes I wish I could do something about the sedentary nature of my job, but accounting has to be done at a computer, so here I am stuck. I wear a pedometer constantly, and it can be disappointing at times to look down at it when I'm leaving work and see that I've only got 1500 steps, knowing that I've got another 10500 to go. Maybe you can take a quick walk around the office during lunch break? I try to park far away from the door, although it only gives me a hundred extra steps, every little bit counts! I've taken to marching in place whenever I get the chance. Fixing my hair, brushing teeth, cooking, even reading!
