  • I have been lurking around this website and message boards for the last few weeks. Everyone seems so supportive! And I've gotten some great ideas for recipes, meal planning, etc.
    I finally made the commitment to lose 1/2 of myself, I don't know how long it will take, but I think I'm in the right frame of mind to do it right, do it nutritiously and keep it off!
    I'm 35, live in MO, single, with a couple of pets, work in mental health.
    My starting weight: 304, today's weight: 297, my goal is 150.

  • We have some goals in common. I started my new lifestyle-not diet-about 2 weeks ago and am hoping at this point to get back in the "100"s but I started at 287 so we are close in size! Wanna be weight loss buddies?

    Yes! I'd love to be diet buddies! I'm looking for all the support I can get and I think supporting others will be very inspiring as well.
    I'm still truckin along...The last week I've had to eat out with some co workers and then I ate dinner someone's house where i don't know the exact calorie/fat/fiber rundown, but I think I'm maintaining good control and making better decisions. This is a total lifestyle change for me and I have to learn how to manage this feat, plus do it in a way I can do the rest of my life.
    This website is so fabulous!! I've spent countless hours on here looking around, reading threads, articles. I love it!!!
