Smile Hello Everyone

Hi Everyone,
My name is Ashley. I have struggled with weight my whole life, and trust me having 2 babies back to back didnt help. I now have a 2 year old and an 11 month old. Now is the time for me to get my weight on track! Im doing this not only for me but for my kids. I dont want to be known as the "fat" mom. I want to be healthy and beautiful. I've been doing hip hop abs and started shopping healthy. Im starting my healthy eating today. So far I have had a cup of special k red berries and a cup of 2%milk. I made a chicken salad sandwich. And Im about to eat some grapes. hopefully I can workout after work. I am doing hip hop abs but just recently ordered turbo jam and it is on its way. Im very excited to join you all and could really use a weightloss buddy. Any tips are appreciated, my main struggle is sweets!!!!!

Hey ThatsSpify, and

Seems like you're off to a great start with your eating and exercise!

You might want to check out our 100 lb club, a group of people who are losing or have lost around 100 lbs or more...it is a wonderful, supportive spot. If you want more of a challenge, we have plenty of challenges ongoing, including a Biggest Loser challenge starting in April that is currently accepting signups. It is a big commitment, but people do really well with it!

What sort of eating plan are you following? Let us know and we can point you to the right spot.

I'm so glad you've found us - stick around, because I can't wait to get to know you better!

Thanks for such the warm welcome. I will check out that 100+ section as I have about 117 lbs to lose. I dont know that I really have a eating plan. I just bought a lot of veggies and healthy alternative snacks like rice cakes a fruit. I usually eat horrible things like 2 PB'J sandwiches at a time alot of pasta and rice which I dont know if I can give totally up yet. I am making spaghetti tonight before work so I dont binge on some pastries at starbucks (my job) I figure I will just have a small bowl, cant be to bad right?

hi Ashley -- man, I hear you about the sweets! I find that if I eat ONE hershey kiss or small pmint patty and eat it real slow and really think about the taste, that's very satisfying, and I don't feel deprived. (Of course, I have to be sure not to eat it while I'm angry, or depressed, or in the middle of doing something else, b/c then it will become TEN, and I don't even notice I've eaten them! But the paying attention thing really helps, for me.)
