hi Betty -- welcome. I am new too, and about the same height as you, but have a little more to lose (but I'm working on it!)

What is your "plan"? What kinds of exercise and food changes do you want to do? There are forums for all kinds of stuff here, so if you browse around I'm sure you'll find folks who are approaching "a healthier life" the same way you are, and will have great suggestions to offer. Good luck!

Hi there . . . the Pansy is one of our standard avatar choices, PENNYMIST. . . and I notice that GUYNNA is also "avatarless".

Take a look at the purple navigation line at the top of every forum page and click on "User CP". The click on "Edit Avatar" in the control panel at the left of the screen. Then just scroll down a little bit and you can start seeing all the avatar options (there are numerous different pages of them that you access by using the little scroll box ner the top of the first group of pictures) and just click on one that you like and then make sure you click on the "save changes" button at the bottom of the page.

I'm sure you will both find something you like and I'll be looking forward to seeing your choices in the near future . . .
